Diane Raeke Farrell Discusses Kurtz Case, Husband's Plea Deal

BUFFALO, NY (2007-10-29) Tuesday, a pre-trail hearing continues the bizarre federal case against a local art professor. Steven Kurtz's attorney will argue before a US District Judge that charges of mail charge be dismissed against Kurtz. He's accused of mail fraud stemming from the use of biological materials used in his art exhibits.

Earlier this month, his colleague and co-defendant, Robert Ferrell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges. He faces six months in prison when sentenced in February.

WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with his wife, Diane Raeke Ferrell about their ordeal. Click the "listen" icon above to hear the interview now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
